Director / Senior Director, Business Transformation | Corporate Finance In Business Transformation at FTI Consulting, we focus on our clients' strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of performance, financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards and other stakeholders. Our services include strategic and business planning, profitability improvement, integration and carve-out and operational due diligence, including interim management. Business Transformation sits with the FTI Corporate Finance practice and works alongside colleagues in the Restructuring, Transactions Services, Tax and Digital Science teams, providing a holistic offer for our clients and a rewarding experience for our staff. FTI Corporate Finance has experienced impressive year on year growth over recent years, and further expansion of the Business Transformation team in the Middle East is a core part of the company strategy. What You'll Do The successful candidate will participate in project teams, working with clients on the execution of various engagements and assist with ongoing business development activity. As such, key activities include: Strategy formulation Complex financial and operational modelling Operational analysis Company financial analysis Market analysis Business plan development Identification of upside / downside potential Development of implementable improvement plans Carve-out and integration planning Programme management and implementation support Lead presentation and report writing Lead client/internal meetings (regular and extensive travel requirement) Project or sub-team lead Manage and coach junior team members Projects we deliver in the region typically require travel to countries where our clients operate including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, typical from Sunday to Wednesday (4 days/3nights). How You'll Grow The role will allow you flexibility to put in place your own framework for success and to work collaboratively with the wider team to support the exciting growth in the FTI Corporate Finance practice. The role is by its nature, flexible allowing for the expansion of opportunities or responsibilities outside of the areas set out above into other matters that you feel can contribute to the broader remit to enhance our technical compliance and operational leanness. There is also the opportunity to interact with industry bodies and networks and / or develop thought leadership. Given the focus on technical excellence, the role will demand that you remain keen to learn and full support will be given to any third-party training or coaching required to assist with the role. Basic Qualifications & Experience Educated to university degree level (or equivalent), preferably in a numerical discipline or that has a numerical element Relevant demonstrable consulting experience (4 yrs Big4, premium brands). Additional industry experience an advantage Project experience in high paced environments focused on rapid results (e.g. rapid performance improvement , turnaround, due diligence) Demonstrable industry experience and expertise in companies with complex operations or environments in a number of industry sectors (Energy, industrial products) gained either in consulting or industry roles Work experience and the ability to demonstrate results delivery across functions in many of the following focus areas: Strategy Performance improvement, ideally turnaround, including diagnosis Operations Financial modelling Business plan review/development Energy Industry experience Implementation Programme management Market assessment Management of senior stakeholders (at Senior Director level in particular) Skills & Competencies Excellent consulting skills, specifically: Proven ability to lead a hypothesis focused approach to solve complex problems from first principals Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to lead and interact with team members and clients at all levels using a range of styles to suit the audience Strong written communication skills with experience of leading the production of client ready PowerPoint documents for senior audiences Relationship building skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport, develop strong working relationships, work in diverse teams, and maintain relationship network Advanced analytics and modelling skills, with proven ability to coach and guide junior team members Excellent organisational and planning skills and confident working with a number of demanding stakeholders, with the ability to handle multiple tasks Equally strong EQ and IQ Strong commercial acumen/market awareness Flexible approach to work, with the desire and capability to work across sectors and project types Highly numerate with the ability to absorb a high quantum of information Strong collaboration kills Desire and ability to learn and be enthusiastic around further training Computer literate with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Fluent English speaker and writer Arabic speaker and writer is a plus Our Benefits Apart from the well-structured career path and excellent team environment, our employees enjoy a variety of perks and benefits.
