Mission
  • Being the point of contact for special requests related to English speaking projects in EMEA
  • Understand the context and the key success factors of the project, understand the need of the customer, document the specifications for operational functions. Setting up and following a strategy to fulfill the needs in collaboration with Sales
  • Create and develop special / customized solutions with the Specials R&D team, offer and quote solutions that match customer needs in terms of functionality, design, cost and lead time while taking into account our supply chain capabilities and ensuring profitability of the project from a company perspective.
  • Work with colleagues from the mock-up team to ensure we deliver the required specials, on time, complete and with perfect quality to the customer.
  • Provide early visibility to colleagues in Order Fulfillment about new and on-going projects to secure future potential orders
  • Support orders/projects in post-sales phase, once the order/project is won
  • Manage pilot runs on special / customized products to ensure we deliver the required specials with perfect quality to the customer.
  • Following up the codification until the product is ready for being entered in an order
  • With a Lean mindset, actively participate in the continuous improvement process
  • Keep internal documentation up-to-date
  • Help following and improving the key KPIs (Speed of quote, Project win rate, Profitability,…)
Skills/Abilities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build a strong network within the company
  • High product affinity and technical understanding
  • Attention to details, problem-solving abilities; able to engage relevant partners for fast problem resolution
  • Customer focus and solution oriented mindset
  • Ability to keep tight deadlines, work under pressure and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and independently
  • Positive and active team player
  • Knowledge of lean principles
  • Fluent English as language skill is mandatory. German or French skills represent a plus.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills
  • Safe handling MS-Office, SAP skills are an advantage
Education/Experience
  • Completed commercial and / or technical training
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a project management, sales or technical environment.
