We would like to fill the following vacancy as soon as possible:

(Associate) Director (gn) FP&A R&D Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead scenario planning and forecasting for new and ongoing trials as part of the forecasting and budget process; establishing linkage to the company's goals and ensuring strong cost control
  • Track actual performance against plan and maintain a real-time forecast for the remainder of the fiscal year
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Long Range Plan and Portfolio Reviews
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations and external CRO's to review and understand clinical contract terms and clinical development plans
  • Develop and standardize financial reports to highlight variances between actuals and forecast, and deliver business insights in close cooperation with the FP&A teams in Munich and Boston
  • Provide financial modeling support to model out and assess business development / capital investment opportunities
  • Collaborate with Clinical Development and Project Management to identify financial risks and opportunities across the clinical organization
  • Oversee the monthly close process, satisfying PO accrual requirements, identifying clinical study modeling inputs, and recording related accruals
  • Develop and continuously streamline the clinical accrual process with the support of R&D Financial Analyst
  • Support external audits as needed
  • Provide ad hoc financial analyses / data / reporting related to Development programs to summarize changes in forecasts
Job Qualifications:
  • Offer ideally five or more years Financial Planning & Analysis experience
  • R&D / Clinical Finance and accounting support / decision making support experience coming from a biotech / pharma
  • CPA / MBA preferred
  • Knowledge of drug development process, the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to work with others as well as independently
  • Strong business acumen and proven business partnering skills
  • Excellent modeling Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of reporting systems (Adaptive Insights, SAP)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Good organizational skills with a great deal of attention to detail
  • Analytical self-starter with a high emphasis on teamwork, timeliness, and quality of work
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment???
