As part of one of our technical teams you will

As part of one of our technical teams you will

• Contribute to our distributed Virtual Power Plant
  
• Design solutions for data ingestion, processing, and persistence
  
• Improve the scalability and fault-tolerance of our systems
  
• Design, analyze, and improve algorithms to control a large number of batteries
  
• Implement protocols and APIs, guide integration work with customers
  

Your profile

Your profile

• Programming skills: Prior experience with Elixir/Erlang or motivation to learn it. Experience with another functional programming language (e.g. Clojure, OCaml, Haskell, or Scala) or distributed systems programming is a plus. We hire at all experience levels.
  
• Analytical and conceptual thinker
  
• Strive for high code quality and maintainability
  
• Write tests as part of your coding routine
  
• Very good understanding of the English and/or German language
  

Depending on your future role one or more of the following competencies are an advantage:

• Interest in running systems reliable at scale, (distributed) databases, Linux, Python
• Algorithms, Math, R, Rust
• API design, API deployment, technical communication skills with customers
