(Senior) Business Analyst (m/f/d)

With our new job recommendation system, we want to become the "digital career advisor for everyone" and, as a virtual JobCoach, support users in their career planning over the long term. We offer companies a wide range of products for recruiting. In addition to our own job board and our pool of candidates, we work with over 4,000 partners in order to target active and latent job seekers.

We are now looking for a (Senior) Business Analyst (m/f/d) to strengthen our Business Intelligence team in our Berlin Headquarter.

• Designing and building insightful reports and data visualisations to support the management in long-term decisions regarding marketing, customer performance and product development
• Working in cross-functional teams to define requirements for future data-related projects and work with the data team to get these up and running
• Translating strategic questions and problems into data-related tasks to support your squad in their decision-making process
• Meeting ad-hoc requests for deep-dives into specific topics that produce actionable results

• Degree in economics/business, IT, Business Informatics or similar discipline; or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of hands-on work experience with a focus on business intelligence or data analytics; preferably in a start-up environment
• Ability to drive data projects from gathering stakeholder requirements through interpretation and execution
• Experience in designing and building effective data visualizations and reports (we use Google Data Studio)
• Good knowledge of SQL (we use Google BigQuery)
• Experience with data pipelines / ETL processes (we use Apache Airflow and Docker)
• Hands-on experience in working with big data (at Joblift, that's not just a buzzword)
• A critical mindset and outstanding analytical skills as well as great communication skills
• Fluent English skills; German a plus
