If you would like to be part of a great team, then send us a convincing application for:Account Executive (m/f/d) - DigitalizationYour Location: GermanyJob Summary:The Account Executive leads the sales activities at a defined number of large accounts and coordinates with the Local Sales Teams to ensure that Cognex wins at these strategic machine builders (OEM) & End Users. The employee will be responsible for exceeding a defined quota and expanding our base of business at these selected accounts. In addition, this position will collaborate with other individuals from product marketing, on strategic opportunities where collaboration is needed to win. Embodies and core values of Cognex including Work Hard, Play Hard and Move Fast. Additional tasks will be assigned as needed by the manager.Your Responsibilities:Identify, coordinate and close large Capex projects with the sales teams.The Account Executive will collaborate with other Account Executives and Logistic Sales Engineers to win business utilizing the pull through strategyDrive the global standardization at these large Accounts in order to establish Cognex as the preferred vision and ID supplier.Develop trust relationships with the key decision makers at the defined large Accounts to ensure they do not turn to competition.Understand industry requirements and key customer needs, then collaborate with the business units to create features and functionalities required to win specifications.Execute the Six Bullets and Delta Sell / Burn Grass strategy. Specific emphasis should be placed on Bullet #2 (Demo), Bullet #3 (Benchmark), and Bullet #5 (High Level Visit) when executing the Six Bullets process. Expand the relationships with the defined large Accounts by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives to achieve mutual agreement.Write and execute a business plan for each selected large account to reach the budgeted quota.Your Background:Ability to approach C-level managersAbility to manage and lead transversallyIn depth understanding of the logistics industry, industry terminology, how the supply chain functions and the processes that make up the industryOutstanding listening attitude for in-depth understanding of large accounts and their position in the industryExcellent verbal and written communication skills in German and fluent French. Other languages can be a plusAbility to handle multitasks, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyStrong negotiation skills, with ability to get signed large accounts contractsTechnical knowledge and credibility, in order to lead large Capex projects identifiedAbility to create long-term profitable relationshipsExperience in selling turnkey solutions to Fortune 500 type companies that drive increased efficiencies throughout their networkUnderstand of the solutions implemented in the industry and the potential payback that Cognex solutions deliver to the industry. I.e.
