Job description

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Responsibility for leading the cross-functional team of change and release committees for turret weapon systems
Organization, management and execution of change and release committees
Analyze all changes with respect to quality, cost & time, and fit, form & function
Ensuring baseline and specification compliance for all changes and releases
Control of the product structure according to variant & version management
Reviewing all data and documents for completeness prior to the change or release process
Responsibility of stakeholder management for all internal departments and external suppliers along the entire value chain and product life cycle
Ensuring compliance with the global change process
Communicating the current project status to the project manager and the PMO based on the changed or released data
Responsibility for regular awareness events, training and technical support for all internal staff and external contractors
Contribute to the improvement of processes, methods and tools in the CM area
Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal, external, and customer CM audits
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
Successfully completed degree in engineering, electrical/electronics, aerospace, computer science, automotive engineering or similar field
In-depth knowledge of configuration and change management
Broad experience with requirements management and knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS desirable
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Results-oriented, assertive work ethic and strong negotiation skills for management within the matrix
Logical and analytical skills, high motivation, networked thinking, ability to work in a team, mobility and mental flexibility
Fluent in written and spoken German and English
In depth knowledge in developing and working with ERP and PLM/PDM systems as well as MS Office
Previous experience from the defense industry in delivering complex platforms/systems is an advantage
