Your mission is to ensure a high level of performance by defining and revising factory objectives, in accordance with the group's strategic axes, and to support the Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain in his transformation.

To strengthen our Manufacturing Operations Department, based in Bergish Gladbach, Germany, we are looking for a Manager Manufacturing for our own CAR T cells production and our CDMO business.

You will lead the establishment of efficient and robust manufacturing operations to supply compliant Drug Product for the early and late clinical phases.

Be part of the company's next generation manufacturing unit building, for the launch and commercialization of our product.

Your role

• You are accountable that all manufacturing operations are performed according to cGMP quality standard and other applicable regulations
• Ensure that manufacturing processes run efficiently and reliably and deliver the expected results in terms of safety, time, quality and quantity.
• Monitor, adjust and improve production processes if necessary
• Carry out investigations related to production problems
• Evaluate, determine and adjust the amount of resources required (manpower and equipment) to implement the strategy
• Leading, supporting and developing the people and organization to support the manufacturing activities
• As one team you establish the close collaboration with the Quality assurance and Quality control team.
• Developing and empowering the team to reinforce agility, flexibility and autonomy
• Creating a culture of continuous improvement

Your profile

• You are an Engenieur, Biologist/ Biotechnologist, Chemist or similar with long year experiences in a management role in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing organization
• In your roles you demonstrated deep experience in manufacturing/quality/engineering and maintenance as well as experience in development of effective and sustainable manufacturing organization
• You have strong expertise in cGMP and regulatory environment
• You impress us with your ability to define and implement a vision
• You are a passionate and inspiring personality with strong leadership and communication skills
• Your focus is building effective relationships across functions
• Your english is fluent, German would be advantageous
