As a Lead Principal Engineer Software Concepts for Adaptive AUTOSAR, you will act as a key driver in our new Platform Architecture Team to define the top-level software architecture of our novel platform. This position can be filled in Munich, Duisburg or Langen.Responsibilities
In your new role you will:

• Define the top-level software architecture optimized for Infineon automotive microcontroller
• Be the key player for the definition of features and related software requirements in the area of adaptive AUTOSAR including drivers for peripherals and memory
  
• Drive hardware/software co-design for new microcontroller platforms
• Take ownership for the definition and execution of proof of concepts
• Lead and conduct technical benchmarking activities
• Lead technical discussions with our software partners & participate on a need base in technical customer meeting with OEMs and Tier1
• Act as a mentor for internal expert teams on current and future adaptive AUTOSAR market trends and tools
• Be a guide and adviser for the roadmap planning for the technical marketing activities in the adaptive AUTOSAR sector

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in technical studies like Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology, preferably a PhD
• At least 8 years of professional experience in the field of automotive and embedded software engineering, especially 3 years in Adaptive Autosar Standard and proven ability to take leadership in your field of expertise
• Ability to define & build-up the ARA infrastructure for a platform and optimize it
• Deep technical understanding of Adaptive AUTOSAR and Classic AUTOSAR Co-existence
• Experience and understanding of functional safety and new security standards
• Extensive knowledge of different CPU cores like ARM, ARC, RISC-V, Tricore, etc.
• Good communication & collaboration skills in English
