  • The mission of the Financial Products team is to remove that barrier by making it cheap and easy for customers to go solar. This is a "ground floor" opportunity, and the ideal candidate is a true builder. Raising the bar for customer experience in Financial Products is core to SunPower's strategy, and this role will play a critical role in driving future growth.
  • The SunPower Financial Products team is looking for a Product Management leader to own the product vision for residential customer Lifetime Value. Reporting to the EVP and Head of Financial Products, this role will be a key member of the Financial Products leadership team. You will own the product vision for maximizing the lifetime value of our relationships with residential customers. Given that 85% of residential solar system sales in the US are financed via a loan, lease, or power purchase agreement, this function is of great strategic importance to SunPower. You will drive features for how homeowners who finance their solar energy system interact with SunPower. This role will deliver business impact through a variety of metrics, including revenue and profit associated with upsell/customer retention and the monetization of our data; customer satisfaction driven by innovation in customer experience, payments, system monitoring; as well as loan/lease performance metrics such as delinquency and prepayment rates.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology. Successfully delivered complex products that scaled over time.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery, including building, delivering and operating products in a consumer-centric space, both desktop and mobile.
  • Customer-obsessed. Excellent customer intuition when faced with product tradeoffs.
  • Strong ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, make recommendations, and drive actions. High attention to detail. Eats complexity for breakfast.
  • Strong project planning/execution skills including estimating, scheduling, and executing on tight deadlines. Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A natural team player with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker who will actively contribute as a member of the Financial Products leadership team, including setting strategy and deciding what our next best investments should be
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in fintech / digital lending businesses. An understanding of the state-of-the-art in the US non-bank digital consumer lending space.
  • Experience optimizing a large, complex online customer acquisition funnel with many channels and products.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic relationships with 3rd party online sales and marketing partners.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit who wants to change the world and naturally prefers to move fast.
  • Ability to actively hire and develop talent.
  • Ability to dive deep and find gaps that need to be addressed; and effectively identify, communicate and recommend the best available solution to implement.
