Job description

An exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor in the North Of Scotland.

Would you like to work for one of the most prominent Timber Frame design, Manufacture and Installation companies in the UK at the moment?

Our client are consistently getting recognition for the quality of their work and require someone to come on board to carry out surveying duties and dealing with contract issues of a commercial nature.

It would be beneficial for applicants to have worked in a subcontractor environment and have a good knowledge of Main Contract terms and conditions. They should be proficient in MS Office, be able to work to tight deadlines, have excellent communication skills and be flexible
in their approach.

As a Quantity Surveyor some of the key responsibilities will include :

Report to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out surveying duties and dealing with contract issues of a commercial nature.
Manage costs for the contract, and ensure targets are met by managing and controlling the budget, valuations and subcontractors' payments.
Compile and agree final accounts with main contractors and subcontractors and assisting the Financial Director with debt recovery issues.
Salary : £40,000 - £45,000.
Working Hours : Monday To Friday , 8.30 AM - 17.00 PM.
