Job description

We are looking for a candidate with a quality background to support Aker Solutions subsea projects on a contract position until June 2022.

Responsibilities:

To ensure compliance to all applicable processes as defined by the Aker Solutions management system and contractual and statutory obligations, where applicable
Proactively take control of performance by implementing appropriate measures to eliminate non-conformance, including actioning Lessons Learned and communicating throughout the Subsea business to avoid reoccurrence
Identify improvement opportunities and work with the Performance and Transformation network to ensure these opportunities are assessed and driven through to completion
Act as focal point of contact for all quality issues on the project, both to client and internal stakeholders
Create and manage the Project/Service Quality plans and Inspection & Test Plans, applying knowledge obtained from Quality analysis trends and lessons learnt, and ensure adherence to agreed plans
Verify adherence to all relevant processes through attendance of process meetings such as, but not limited to, Tender handovers, project kick off, Design reviews, FAB / PPM Meetings
Support Project Managers with the risk register process, ensuring Mitigation action plans for all risks are in place and actions are followed through to completion
Raise awareness within the business of risks associated with change management. Monitor adherence to change management process and facilitate change management board reviews as required
Take ownership of all critical Investigations relating to your assigned scope of work, either as Lead Investigator or working with Lead investigator to ensure the urgency and momentum is maintained throughout the Investigation to allow a timely root cause conclusion
Ensure NCR process compliance, highlighting and challenging areas of concern

Role Skills:

Strong communication skills with both Internal / external stakeholders Ability to build effective relationships with all stakeholders
Be inquisitive and have the ability to challenge when required
Analytical, structured and driven to improve business performance
Good knowledge of processes in management systems
Experience with SAP System, across the subsea execution areas
Knowledge of problem solving methodologies
Understanding of Lean methodologies

Education:
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
A recognized Quality Assurance or Quality Management qualification or equivalent HNC/HND or relevant degree
Relevant work experience will also be considered
