Sales Manager Job in Chapelton, Aberdeenshire
Our client is a reputable provider of exclusive, high-quality retirement living communities and they now need a Sales Manager based at their development in Chapelton, Aberdeenshire. We are looking for candidates ideally with retirement living experience although new homes and estate agency experience will also be considered. The role offers a salary of up to £45,000 (£65k OTE) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Established for over 50 years, they provide not just buildings but sustainable communities across the private sector, assisted living, retirement and leisure sectors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Reporting into the Director of Operations, manage the performance of a sales/letting team providing excellent direction and support
- Set KPIs and targets and monitor with the team on a weekly basis
- Motivating the team to achieve or exceed targets
- Attend weekly meetings on performance of sales/rentals
- Prepare staffing rotas
- Manage the BRL Sales CRM system (Salesforce) and reporting requirements
- Deal promptly and effectively with customer complaints
- Prepare, submit and present weekly and monthly sales/lettings reports
- Liaise with external parties (legals, removals, sales agents) to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage continual training and development of the team
- Manage enquires through telephone, walk-ins and website and arrange visits for potential customers
- Act as Personal Advisor to all potential customers by following up leads, maintaining interest and talking through any possible obstacles a customer may have
- Ensure all leads are dealt with correctly and data is effectively collected and recorded using Salesforce
- Administer reservations in accordance with the set Customer Journey guidelines and timescales
- Oversee the entire customer journey from initial enquiry through to completion day
- Deal with general administration duties
- Identify areas of concern with the reservation process for a property and problem solve / escalate as necessary
- Ensure new home tours are being carried out with purchasers
- Ensure that the show properties and sales office (internally and externally) are always presentable.
Required Skills & Experience
- Ideally Retirement living sales experience, however new homes and estate agency will also be considered
- Consultative sales approach is a must
- Demonstrable experience at a senior level within retirement living, new homes or estate agency
- Preferably experience in managing sales advisors
- Demonstrable track record of meeting team and personal sales targets
- Experienced in financial / sales reporting
- Experienced in delivering effective marketing strategies
- A passion for the retirement living sector
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / CRM Systems
