Job description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Support role.

This job is required to support the Quality Assurance function.

The position will report to the QA Coordinator. The QA Coordinator reports to the Construction Manager.

Main Job Functions

  • Provide support to the onshore QA Coordinator for all the assets this will include (but is not limited to):
    • Organisation and coordination of onshore inspection visits to fabricators and equipment suppliers (both in the UK and Overseas) as required.
    • Expedite fabrication packages, construction materials and report progress.
    • Ensure that MRBs are received for all fabricated packages and expedite the receipt when required
    • Maintain inspection and material trackers
    • Receipting Invoices
    • Creating Purchase Requisitions
    • Support the measuring and reporting of fabricator delivery performance.
    • Support the Temporary Portable Equipment Inspection process.
    • Provide material support for the Engineering Team as and when required
    • Provide support to the Warehouse when materials and equipment are received without the correct certification.
    • Review completed workpacks returned from offshore to ensure all the correct certification has been signed off.

Other Requirements
  • Excellent IT skills are essential, in particular the use of Mircosoft Excel and Word. Being able to use Maximo and Oracle applications would be desirable but not essential.
