Architectural Technologist / Technician

Location: Bedford

Our Client, based in Bedford are recruiting a qualified Architectural Technologist / Technician to join their commercial Architecture team. The successful candidate will be Part 2 RIBA qualified or CIAT with a minimum of 5 years post qualification practical experience. Salary negotiable for the right candidate dependent on experience and qualifications.

This role is for the commercial architecture team and as such a track record in commercial architecture is a requirement. Applicants will need to have a focus, interest and experience in the retail, industrial and education sectors. Applicants will be required to have a high level of technical expertise as well as excellent communication skills and be able to establish and maintain client relationships.In addition, it would be beneficial to have experience running projects, as well as the ability to fit into a team, or work individually as the project requires.

They are looking for someone whose portfolio displays examples of their design strength as well as their experience in technical design resolution and detailing capability.

Specific experience:

Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modelling software is essential.
Experience and proficiency in writing NBS specifications would be useful
Knowledge of Revit, Sketch-up, Photoshop and supplementary presentation software packages would also be beneficial.
Full UK Driving Licence and the candidate must be willing to travel if the project requires.
