Building Health and Safety Coordinator
Bedford - Hybrid working
Full Time (37 hours per week)
Permanent
£24,200

We are currently looking for a Building Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. The main purpose of this role is to provide an effective coordination and administrative support service for all building safety aspects across all compliance areas.
What you will be doing:
*
Coordinating the cyclical and planned works programmes
*
Ensuring that records of completed works are accurately maintained
*
Raising works orders as required, ensuring they are correctly coded and passed to the relevant people
*
Reviewing certification for compliance and follow on work
*
Scheduling inspections / work as required
*
Instigating appropriate legal action where required to gain access to properties
*
Providing accurate compliance reports
*
Updating asset management records
*
Attending contractor meeting and producing and recording accurate minutes
*
Working alongside the Building Safety Manager to obtain and collect information to support the building safety cases for the HRRB or any other applicable buildings which fall within scope
*
Keeping our buildings and customers safe and engaging with customers which may be through telephone calls.
We'd love to meet someone with:

Knowledge and experience of asset management or property compliance within social housing
*
Experience of updating data accurately and efficiently across complex areas
*
Experience of providing accurate reports
*
Experiece of undertaking review / audits
*
Excellent customer service skills
*
Ability to follow agreed policies and procedures
*
Strong communication skills
*
Good working knowledge of Asprey, Microsoft Office, Keystone or other compliance / social housing software
