About the role.
We're looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our professional team as a Deputy Education Service Manager at our College in Bedford working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
As a Deputy Education Service Manager you will work with people who have dual or single sensory impairment, learning disability , and associated physical disabilities.
With your educational background and understanding of OFSTED requirements, you will have the ability to work collaboratively with both the Education Services Manager and teachers to effectively manage, plan and implement quality education, learning and care provision for learners with sensory loss/impairment and additional learning difficulties.
You will also support the Education Services Manager in leading the continued success and future development of specialist education, learning and care provision for people with sensory loss/impairment and additional disabilities.

About you
It is important that you are a flexible, confident and supportive manager who will happily be involved in all areas of education delivery and care needs as and when this is required.
A full UK driving licence is a desirable requirement for this role to meet community needs of students.
Relevant degree or a higher level qualification is an essential requirement for this role.
Knowledge of or qualification in British Sign Language or similar is desirable ( BSL / Makaton etc.)
