Electrical Maintenance Engineer (DAYS only)

Bedford, Bedfordshire

£36,000- £38,000 + Extensive Overtime at x1.5 and x2 + Benefits + 33 Days Holiday

Monday to Friday 07:00- 15:00

OTE- £40,000- £45,000

Electrically biased maintenance engineer sought for a rapidly growing packaging company based in Bedford. They are a business which continue to progress, opening sites throughout the UK, the engineers can look forward to a pristine working environment, sociable working hours (mon to fri days only) and ongoing training/developmeent.

The successful maintenance engineer will have a significant electrical bias, ideally having some form of level 3 qualification in electrical engineering (e.g. NVQ, C&G, ONC, HNC, HND) coupled with practical experience. Applications are welcomed from any electrically biased engineer that has experience working as part of a service & maintenance engineering function. Candidates should have experience fault finding and repairing on production or process machinery, with some exposure to PLC fault finding.

Working as part of a multi functional maintenance engineering team, your objective will be to ensure the efficient repair, maintenance and service of all production and process machinery on site. You will be completing primarily reactive tasks during the week with all planned maintenance and PPM schedules being completed at the weekend. You will be working with systems such as; Pneumatics, Conveyors, Packaging Equipment, Robots and more. As a qualified engineer, you will be the point of contact for operational and production staff on arising issues within the factory.

The Person:

Electrically biased engineer
