Job description
This role offers the opportunity to coordinate the daily operations of our client's Luton mental health recovery service based at their Luton Wellbeing Centre in Luton, where they offer activities and groups throughout the week enabling service users to manage their mental health and move through their recovery journeys.

*Working days: *Monday - Friday
*Working hours: *37 hours per week over 5 days to cover core service times, including 1 evening per week
The role involves coordinating referrals into the service and leading on more complex referrals to assess suitability. The role also leads on the continuous development of their services to ensure that they meet the needs of the community, in line with their values, the promotion of their services to local communities and building strong links to other local services. This role will be responsible for the line management of the staff and volunteer team delivering their services and also for the Luton Wellbeing Centre facilities.
*Job Description/Service Delivery*
* Operate a service and ensure outcomes which support individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs in Luton in line with the charity's recovery model and contract requirements.
* Contribute to the development of and implement the delivery of the Luton Locality Plan.
* Work closely with the recovery and peer workers to ensure the correct access to service procedure is followed, taking responsibility for more complex referrals and ensuring everybody has a consistent and quality experience and are able to access the correct service for them in an acceptable timescale.
* Ensure regular involvement of service users, volunteer and staff on local service delivery, organisational matters and wider mental health strategies.
* Management
* Maintain an effective workforce for the service in line with the charity's HR policies, procedures and guidance (recruitment, line management, workload planning, support and development of Recovery and Peer Workers and volunteers).
* Work with the Project Support Manager to review, design and implement changes to service delivery and working models, ensuring the service meets the needs of the local community, and identify relevant funding opportunities
* Hold responsibility for the maintenance of the Luton Wellbeing Centre premises and facilities, and coordinate relevant bookings
* Hold responsibility for a budget and cash handling, with associated record keeping in line with the charity's financial policies, procedures and guidance
* Hold responsibility for the collection, updating, monitoring and reporting of service data in line with the charity's contract and systems requirements and procedures.
* Hold responsibility for health and safety for Luton Wellbeing Centre in line with the charity's H&S policies, procedures and guidance (risk assessments, reviews, reporting, safeguarding, incidents/accidents, premises).
