Job description

To produce timely and accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly financial information for the audit requirements.

Financial analyst - Maternity cover (12 Months FTC)

Job Purpose :
To produce timely and accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly financial information for the business\/audit requirements.

An excellent financial accountant who has an analytical mind combined with a strong business orientation. Must be self-motivated and able to assume responsibility achieving the required deadlines. Be able to contribute to the decision-making process to ensure business growth and long-term success.

Knowledge and Skills

* Knowledge of financial accounting and reporting
* Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
* Preferable if there is working knowledge of Navision
* Good MS office skills e.g. excel
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* A problem-solver with attention to detail
A relevant certification (e.g. ACCA\/CIMA)

Key Activities

* Preparation of daily and weekly management trackers
* Preparation of weekly reports
* Preparation of weekly \/ monthly stock valuations
* Preparation of monthly trading report
* Generating key purchase ledgers
* Preparation of ad hoc reports
* Supporting the review and improvement of management and IT systems
* Supporting internal and external audit

* Preparation of daily\/weekly management trackers

* Preparation of monthly financial accounts, fixed assets register, stock valuation, and other key balance sheet accounts.
* Generating key purchase ledger reports
