Senior Human Factors Engineer
Location: Reading / Basingstoke Area
Salary: £42,650 - £65,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

Your responsibilities will include:
Provide an Intelligent Customer interface with Regulators at a project level
Provide subject matter expertise to Design and Peer review
Promote Human Factors Review Learn and Improve
Lead the production of Human Factors assessments and other technical inputs to the design process and to safety cases and safety documentation for a range of facilities including radioactive, explosives and chemical plant
Lead Human Factors research relating to AWE's activities
Whilst not considered a check list, we will expect candidates to be able to demonstrate:
A strong background in delivering Human Factors design and engineering solutions in safety critical or regulated industries
A broad technical experience of Human Factors methods, tools and techniques
Experience of applying human factors methods in a dynamic, multi-disciplined environment
Higher education qualification in relevant science or engineering discipline
Ability to manage both technical and non-technical stakeholder relationships
Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
