Teaching Assistant - Reading for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.

This is an fantastic opportunity for recent graduates looking to further their knowledge in the psychology of Special Needs students or an individual looking to work in the criminal justice system.

An intimate specialist school is looking for an individual with a passion for education to support the emotional wellbeing, social skills and mental health of the students within their school. The school provide an alternative educational for those children who struggle either socially or emotionally. The Teaching Assistant/Mental Health Support Assistant role will entail of working alongside trained professionals such as Psychologists and Therapists giving such candidate a great opportunity to shadow their work.

The SEN children in this school require a teaching assistant who understands their complex needs and is open-minded and up for a challenge. The children have varying needs although Autism is the main provision. Suitable experience can include working with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Level 3 qualifications+ are also required and a Degree would be most desirable.
