*Job Title: *Domestic Assistant - Cook/Cleaner

*What does the cook do?*

Your role as the cook will be [but not limited to]:

· You will be responsible for the preparation and serving of meals for the home- cooking 2 meals a day and clean specific areas.

· To ensure all special dietary needs are followed and prepare food to a high level of quality and quantity.

· You will maintain relevant records and control stock rotation, ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.

· You will set appropriate menus, complete weekly food shops while managing the budget, adhere to all safety standards.

· Set a professional example in work methods, procedures, personal presentation, timekeeping and hygiene.

· To maintain health and safety at work practices at all times.

*Where would I work?*

White House is a large, detached house in Datchet, close to both Windsor and Slough town centres. The service supports nine adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities and associated complex needs.

*What experience do I need?*

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience working in the catering sector and/or with people with learning disabilities or other disadvantaged groups.
