Job description

Fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest care providers in the UK, and be a part of a brilliant team in a luxury nursing home.

We are flexible in able to offer either a full or part time role, this can be discussed at interview.

Food Handling and Preperation:
- Prepare and cook daily meals for residents and staff.
- Provide catering for special occasions and events.
- Monitor and record food and items required.

Health and Safety:
- Understand safe food handling rules and ensure all food is prepared to the highest standard of hygiene.
- Maintain regular checks of refrigerators and freeszers to ensure food to stored safely.
- Prepare the cleaning rota, while regularly cleaning of all kitchen areas, equipment and appliciances.
- Practice safe systems of work in relation to the Health and Safety Act.
- Knowledge of COSHH assessments.
- Practice safe systems of moving and handling, risk assessments and personal safety for both residents and members of staff.
