Are you an Aspiring Music or Art therapist? Or and Educational / Clinical Psychologist?

Have you been thinking about Occupational Therapy or Speech and Language?

Children presenting with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) often struggle to manage their emotions and behaviour and find it difficult to make and sustain relationships with adults and peers. These difficulties are often displayed through individuals becoming withdrawn or showing disruptive and challenging behaviour. These individuals then often struggle to engage in an learning setting. This role with enable such candidate to make a real difference in the lives of those most vulnerable while also building up a portfolio of work and outstanding experience for further career development.

A positive, enthusiastic individual who is able to bring previous knowledge and experience to the classroom is exactly what this school is looking for. The students within such school require a supportive teaching assistant who able to adapt to different situations. With SEN widely varying, the children have many different needs, which should always be a priority. Suitable experience from working with either children is greatly beneficial. A minimum of Level 3 qualifications or equivalent is required, with a degree being most desirable.
