Job description

Location: Maidenhead - Hybrid working, flexible by agreement

We are working in partnership with HEART UK, a charity that provides expert support, guidance and education services to healthcare professionals and people and families with concerns about cholesterol. They are seeking a Business Development and Marketing Manager to work alongside the Consultant Dietetic Adviser and Chief Executive and closely with the Senior Fundraising Manager to find and generate corporate partnerships, build relationships, write proposals, create marketing materials and account manage new and existing corporate partners.

The successful individual will have charity experience and can demonstrate:

Experience of generating significant income from a wide range of corporate income streams
A high level of skill and applied knowledge of marketing, including digital marketing

Strong project and people management skills.

Excellent skills in the use of digital marketing tools, social media, zoom, teams, email, internet, and MS Office Sharepoint, Word and Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong influencing and negotiation skills with a creative and entrepreneurial outlook.

The charity works closely with corporate partners, predominantly from the food and pharmaceutical industries. This role is to maximise the opportunities from working with these sectors and exploring new ones to generate income according to agreed budgets. You will be a self-starter with positive team working ethic who is willing to take the initiative and proactively engage with supporters. Strong presentation skills with a creative and entrepreneurial outlook. Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills required, with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people.
