Join our team and help us continue to make this an exceptional place to work!Main ResponsibilitiesBe part of a team of engineers with responsibility for the delivery of complex mixed-signal productsDesign and develop new circuit architectures and techniques on advanced process nodes with an awareness of competing solutions and commercial pressuresParticipate in all aspects of the design, from concept to production siliconInvolved in specification, architectural development, transistor-level design, SPICE, Matlab and Verilog (System Verilog, Verilog A, Verilog-AMS) modelling and simulation, layout supervision, post-layout simulation, chip-level verification, and lab validationOrganised, detailed, and strong communication skillsSelf-motivated with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritise and thrive in a dynamic environmentInfluence the growth of the group through recruitment, mentoring, review and supervision of junior engineersRequired Skills and QualificationsHighly proficient with industry design tools and simulation environmentsHighly familiar with the challenges of mixed-signal system design, including the fundamentals of analog/mixed-signal modelling, chip-level and sub-system integration and verification, physical implementation, and process limitationsStrong numerical and analytical skills with a detailed understanding of signal processing, control theory and circuit and system analysis techniquesHighly qualified at silicon validation and bench debug with an appreciation of PCB design and board level issuesAble to interact directly with multi-functional teams including marketing and product definition, production test, product engineering, and end customer interfaceStrong communication skillsPreferred Skills and QualificationsAn understanding, appreciation and passion for audio engineeringDesign of low power clock generation circuits, oscillators, PLLs, FLLs etc.Audio ADC and DAC designDSP or algorithm developmentDesign of power management systemsDigital system level designAbility to incorporate and lead new design techniques, methods independent of existing practicesAt Cirrus Logic, we believe that diversity drives innovation and we are committed to encouraging an open and collaborative culture where different approaches, ideas and points of view are respected and valued.
