Finance Manager - Digital Finance - 12-month FTC

What you will be doing

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with experience in Digital Transformation / IT, you will support the senior finance manager and digital transformation leadership team in providing timely reporting and performance insight to manage the function and performance commitments in an effective control environment. Flexible working option of working 2-day office / 3 days home.

We're looking for you to have:
  • Qualified accountant - CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • Prior experience of supporting or working in a Digital/IT department - Build effective business partnering relationships with the Digital Transformation management teams to support the achievement of shared business objectives and ensure adherence to processes and procedures.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring information is right the first time -Review and present all financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, in accordance with company processes. Lead and drive each deliverable, deploying the team to ensure delivery of milestones and deadlines. Lastly, identify areas for improvement in the process to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Experience in coaching and leading a small team to become better finance business partners - Manage two direct reports to deliver the outputs required and develop those direct reports for progression within the business.
  • Influencing and negotiation skill with managers and direct reports - Lead the month-end close activities, presenting financial results, including comparisons of monthly performance with budgets, forecasts, and prior year performance. Ensure efficiencies and savings initiatives are tracked following company procedures, and savings flow through to lower costs.
