Job description

Our client, a charitable trust, is looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to work across all of their offices and rental properties, carrying out repairs and upgrades to their estate. The role also includes helping the Facilities team with Health and Safety checks on the different sites.

*Maintenance Technician*
*Salary: *£13.34 - £13.63 per hour, depending on qualifications
*Contract: * Permanent, Part time
*Hours: * 56 - 84 hrs a month (672 - 1008 per year), which can be worked flexibly by agreement
*Based: * Across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire

You will have building repairs and maintenance experience, and ideally have a plumbing / carpentry background. Your organisational skills will help you prioritise the work required across multiple sites, with your Health & Safety knowledge and experience ensuring work is carried out to the highest safety standards.

They can be flexible with the working hours for this role. For demonstrative purposes only, 56 - 84 hours a month, roughly equates to 2-3 days a week. However, the postholder, with the agreement of their line manager can work their hours in a different way as long as it accommodates the Facilities team monthly work schedule.

They are a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.
