Job description

What will you be doing ?
Reduce the amount of documentation in storage, both on site at our Clients facilities and off site at externally storage, by managing the digitalization and/or disposal of documents through: o With indirect procurement, coordinating return of documents to Reading
Assessing all physical documents (cross departments, stored off site with Iron Mountain & on site in Reading) to see whether these are also saved digitally o Identifying with document owners/process owners which documents need to be stored physically/digitally based on age and document type, and if digitally where these are to be stored
Scanning and upload digital documents as required
Dispose of physical documents as required - Assist with co-ordination activities; documentation queries from the workshop and MRB updates
Provide input to daily operation meetings, giving updates to documentation issues that require resolution
Update weekly KPI dashboard with data pulled from SAP
Contribute to Continuous Improvement, including participation in Bi-monthly Idea board meeting
At all times maintain a focus on HSSE, including participating in Safety Walks and ensuring unsafe activities are stopped
All relevant paperwork in relation to service and manufacturing work orders are completed correctly and no hold points are passed
Remove any silo mentality between the workshops and departments and ensure a sound working environment
Actively work toward lowering our C02 emissions from the workshop setting and also embracing digital solutions

What we think you should have:
Understanding of Lean methodologies, including 5S
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel - Working knowledge of SAP
Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Trello applications
Experience working within Manufacturing environment
Experience implementing Lean methodologies & Continuous Improvement tools
