We are seeking a Software Developer with experience in developing the frontend of Web Applications in Vue.js or with similar modern frameworks to join our growing Development team. If you have experience working with PHP that would also be beneficial, so you can work closely with our backend developers, but it is not a must-have skill.

This job can be worked remotely, with occasional travel to either our Reading or Towcester offices. Technologies:

Responsibilities:
- Contributing to platform development by being an active member of one of our agile software development teams
- Work independently or with other engineers to develop bug fixes, platform improvements and new features
- Output code and solutions that are of the highest standards: Dev test work before committing code for review; Write unit tests for new work where appropriate
- Investigate, test, and resolve technical problems
- Be an engaged and collaborative team member who in addition to getting through day-to-day work contributes thoughts and ideas where possible, for example: for process improvement to your team and the wider Xtremepush community; for product enhancements that will be valuable to our users; for performance improvements to the Xtremepush platform
- Occasional travel might be required
- Educated to a degree level in an appropriate technical subject (e.g., software engineering) or with equivalent technical training
- 5+ years' experience in a software development role
- Strong frontend programming skills and experience with modern frameworks expertise in Vue.js would be best but transferable skills from other frameworks such as React may be OK
- Proficient working with all core web technologies; JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience working with APIs
- Knowledge of SQL database use
- Experience working in an agile team
- Can work on own initiative, 'can do' attitude
- Logical problem solver
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical solutions simply to others
- Strong interest in marketing technologies
