We are searching for a Civils Supervisor to work with one of the UK's premier engineering and construction firms.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Civils Supervisor to work on a large highway construction project along the M4 Corridor.

They are seeking for someone who will oversee the co-ordination and management of the work of all site operatives, as well as ensuring that all work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The Responsibilities would be as followed

* Managing safety on the job site, including inductions and successful Toolbox Talks, daily task briefings, and point-of-work evaluations.

* Assigning tasks to those on site

* Overseeing the activities of the site operatives to make sure their responsibilities are carried out.

* Arranging and requisitioning equipment/plant and materials to guarantee the completion of the work.

* Working alongside line managers to oversee that the methods of work are technically sound, safe, and economically viable, and warn them of any items which may impact or change the contract programme.

* Provide daily reports of the activities on site to create the information needed for progress reports.

Knowledge & Experience

* Heavy Civils experience

* Able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately.

* Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card and SMSTS.
