£60000 + Pension + holiday

In this role the Commercial Project Manager is responsible for all commercial matters relating to the projects you are assigned to, both pre-EPC and during EPC stage. This involves working within a multi-disciplinary team to support the project qualification phase and follow the contractual obligations, monitor compliance, making sure that company's rights resulting from contractual changes are properly captured and exercised and drive commercial solutions to secure financial improvements of the project.

The ideal candidate will have a degree and have a commercial project management background from the renewable energy industry.

The role:
*Attend regular project specific meetings to maintain effective project team communication, contract management and contractual compliance
* Manage project budgets from initial budget drafting and presenting at approval stages, to implementation and review through the project delivery and completion stages.
* Manage Utilisation Requests/Drawdowns from the client/ investor, this includes communication with the technical advisors for ensuring timely approval of drawdown claims.
* Ensure that Pre-EPC risk registers are updated, reviewed regularly and signed off in line with the company commercial governance requirements and budget.
* Lead negotiations on variation claims, defend effectively against claims made by other parties and process legitimate claims according to the project contracts and company processes

The person:
*Candidates will ideally have a degree.
*Have a minimum of 3 years experience from the renewable energy industry.
*Strong commercial knowledge and contract negotiation skills
* Good knowledge of planning and project controls, change and time management abilities
* Experience with managing various stakeholders and sub-contractors, strong relationship building skills
