Customer Insight Analyst - Permanent Slough

Our highly successful financial client based in the Thames Valley is looking for a Customer Insight Analyst with knowledge of the car and leasing industries (ideally) to join their established team based in prestigious offices on the outskirts of Slough. Hybrid/flexible working (3 days office based and 2 days home working) is available within the business for this role.

The Customer Insight Analyst will provide accurate investigative analysis which will highlight opportunities for savings, fleet efficiencies and benchmarking across their largest clients and develop dashboards within Power BI. The Customer Insight Analyst will continually be looking for improvement across the commercial division using the PDCA methodology and using data to information, information to insight, insight to actions. Ensuring the integrity of all dashboards and reporting information is accurate and report via a set of agreed Dashboards on performance trends against key deliverables.

The Primary responsibilities will be:

  • Evolve and maintain customer insight system for all customers to facilitate effective insight for account teams
  • Carry out monthly reporting, analysis, benchmarking and forecasting as agreed against key customers
  • Carry out monthly investigations for insight and provide commentary on the so what impact
  • Ensure that the integrity of individual database components is always maintained
  • Develop a detailed understanding of all areas of the Commercial data sets and analysis tools
  • To assess what key information the business can use to improve its customer insight and customer service
  • To be involved in key supply projects where analysis is required and to provide support for other project team members
  • To provide ad-hoc reporting as requested by Sales Managers or Head of Functions
  • Continuously looking for improvement across the Commercial Division using the PDCA methodology

Key Knowledge areas are:

  • Excellent knowledge and use of Power BI (essential)
  • Excellent computer and numerical skills, especially Excel (essential).
  • A strong track record of analysis and problem solving and of making improvement recommendations.
  • Ability to understand the objective & reason behind the objective and to assess the benefits & risks of specific recommendations.
  • High level of Commercial acumen
  • Ability to combine the theoretical with the practical to deliver insights that can be implemented.
  • Experience of working with and through others, documenting processes, process review, setting scope and objectives, time management and prioritisation of tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task and still deliver against set objectives
  • Comfortable working with imperfect information and drawing conclusions from partial knowledge.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ownership of tasks & issues through to completion.
  • Knowledge of the car and leasing industries will be an advantage
