Field Based Installation/Service Engineer
£35,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary + Company Vehicle, Pension, Bonus

Slough/Reading/Swindon (M4 Corridor)

If you are an experienced heavy plant engineer looking for a fresh challenge and interested in new technologies with a forward thinking, growing organisation then this is the role for you. Ideally you will be based near the M4 corridor, however, suitable applicants across the UK will be considered.

The company are going through excellent growth and looking to expand their field service team. Successful applicants will ideally come from a heavy plant background and have demonstrable experience of mechanical and electrical engineering. With a full, in depth training plan provided, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take the step into a new industry, working on exciting new technologies.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Field based position, visiting customer sites to install and service equipment
* Installation of technical on board telemetry and efficiency analysis equipment
* Reactive maintenance/repairs as required
* Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times
* Comfortable working in heavy industrial environments and frequently working outdoors

Skills & Experience

* Previous Experience in a field based engineering role
* Knowledge and Experience of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
* Experience working within construction, quarrying or similar heavy industrial environments
* Competent welder (desirable)
* Excellent communication skills
* Can do attitude and a willingness to undertake training and development opportunities

Salary/Package

* £35,000 - £45,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
