Job description

The Operations Coordinator role, which sits within the Operations department, will deal with all shipments which fall outside of the general scope of the Operations department, providing bespoke solutions for clients seeking alternative services, such as imports, heavyweight, deferred, road, air & sea. This role will also look after the stocking of consumables and assist the Operations team, both in terms of office support and warehouse duties as required.
Key Tasks:
· Booking collections, organising & co-coordinating imports and exports
· Preparing all the custom clearance documentation
· Arranging shipments for air and road
· Providing quotes to clients
· Processing shipments
· Dealing with customers general enquiries via phone and email
· Purchasing and stock taking of consumables
· Other general office duties
· Assisting the Operations department as necessary
Skills & Experience
· Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word and Email (E)
· Excellent customer service skills (E)
· Industry knowledge (E)
· Strong communication and negotiation skills (E)
· Verbal and written communication skills (E)
· Ability to multitask (E)
· Import/Export Experience (D)
· Dangerous Goods (D)
Salary: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
