We are looking for a Product Manager who will be part of the Digital Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE) reporting directly to the VP of Digital Engineering. In this role you'll lead technical training, documentation, and education programs across bp. This includes a software engineering bootcamp on day 1 to on-going engineering and operational excellence "best practices" trainings. You'll use data from the software engineering community to identify gaps of knowledge and then create the right mixture of content to address those gaps.

Activities

  • Collaborates with technical leaders to define strategy and approach for training programs.
  • Takes care of the overall milestone planning, execution, delivery, and release of training content and documentation.
  • Develop surveys and metrics to identify gaps in knowledge and then drive programs to improve those metrics over time.
  • Own a day 1 bootcamp for software engineers and run it on an on-going basis.
  • Brings together different disciplines from UX, Product, Software, etc. to identify common training needs and gaps.
  • Coach and mentor other product managers and leaders working in the training and education space.

Expected Knowledge
  • Past experience leading and owning training and documentation programs.
  • Solid understanding and experience of current software development processes, including cloud-based delivery.
  • A good overall knowledge of project delivery and agile practices.
  • Information Technology degree or educational background preferred.
