Mental Health Assistant - Aspiring Therapist - Windsor

A fantastic school in Windsor is looking for a graduate to become part of their team. An ideal candidate would have a Psychology, Criminology, Sociology or relevant degree. You will be working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting children with Learning Disabilities and Autism. All relevant prior experience will also be considered.

This is a long term role providing a great opportunity to further your knowledge within a SEN setting, whilst providing essential mental health support. Children rage from 5-16 years, all who will benefit from an empathetic and encouraging individuals who want to make a difference in to those most vulnerable.

The Candidate

* Strong interest and passion and for SEN and education.
* Level 3 + or Degree required.
* Experienced with SEN desirable.
* Availability to start ASAP.
* Recent graduates welcome.

This SEN school is currently looking for both, recent graduates and experienced SEN behaviour teaching assistants to provide support to children with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, ADHD, and communication difficulties (autistic spectrum conditions, Asperger's Syndrome; speech, language and communication needs).

This is a great opportunity for those studying a either a masters or bachelors in psychology to gain first-hand experience in the psychology of Special Needs students.

Whilst prior experience working with SEN is desirable for this role, recent graduates who have a passion for education will be most definitely considered. Such candidate should be confident in engaging with SEN whilst being able to bring enthusiasm to the role.
