Front End Developer - JavaScript - Perm - Windsor/Remote

Digital Skills are pleased to be working with a leading Digital/E-commerce company, based in Windsor. The client are seeing incredible demand for their services and are undergoing significant growth. As part of that, we are looking for a JavaScript developer who is confident in developing new applications

We are looking for a confident and passionate Developer, who demonstrates good attention to detail, is used to working to tight deadlines, and has excellent time management skills. The ideal candidate needs to be well organised with a very hands-on approach. You must be skilled in JavaScript, HTML, CSS. It does not matter which JavaScript framework you code in, however you will be trained/use React and Typescript

Responsibilities

• Developing innovative new applications for expansion of the business
• Ensure that applications meet business requirements
• Participating in daily Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning meetings, code reviews and developing proof of concepts.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with consuming APIs
• Understanding of Object Orientated Programming
• Scrum or Agile methodology
• Understanding principles of TDD and/or BDD

The client works in a well established, Microsoft focused tool set and utilises the latest integrations in order to ensure that application back ends are well integrated to their Front End. You do not need to be experienced in Azure or Docker or Kubernetes - however will be trained in these as well as receiving training in how to deliver DevOps - CI/CD pipelines.

You will work closely with the Back End team, gaining exposure to C# and .NET as well as being given specific time to work on your own skills and provide yourself with L&D opportunities, interacting with the entire stack that the client operates within.

You will receive a competitive salary, expected to be between £50/60k per annum depending upon experience.
