Our client is an outstanding Teaching School with NLE \/ NSS designation. They are looking for a Science Technician to help coordinate and maintain equipment and services within their science department.

Start date: As soon as possible
Up to 31 hours per week (8.30am 3pm \/ term time only)

Salary 14,139 (19,954 FTE)

They are now looking for a Science Technician to support the day to day running of their science department.

About the Role:

You would join a small friendly team dedicated to the science department.

Previous experience in a secondary school would be an advantage.

Specific qualifications, experience and\/or training should be made clear on your application, and all will be advantageous in the application process.

Primary Responsibilities and Required Skills:

The post-holder will be responsible for:

Maintaining equipment in working order.

Storage and setting up demonstrations of equipment ready for teachers to use.
Needs to be well organised and able to work under pressure to short deadlines and deal with regular interruptions.
Work with minimal supervision and act on own initiative.
Demonstrate attention to detail.
