What will you be doing ?
Based in our Clients Winnersh. Reading site, this role is a critical in our Supply Chain Operations Department.
The Warehouse role will include a mixture of warehouse operations like Goods Inwards, Kitting, Shipping, Logistics, cycle counting and other general duties that allows the company to operate efficiently.
All these operations must be carried out in a safe manner and to a high standard.

What we think you should have:
Daily management of Aker Solutions or client inventory located within the UK Warehouses
Ensure that all activities are carried out with due regard to HSSE regulations / legislation and in accordance with the companies procedures and policies, while also maintaining the highest personal, professional and ethical standards
Ensuring stock checks / cycle counts are carried out accurately and systems updated with correct information
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the warehouse, including the Yard and other areas under Warehouse control
High focus on 5S principles and Continuous Improvement
Ensuring kitting is completed in line with planning requirements to support operations
Process receipt of incoming goods ensuring all information is accurate
Assist with the outbound process through to completion of shipping including consolidating and packing
Carry out any preservation requirements
Perform any other work related tasks as requested by department management, which require the same level of skill and responsibility
Preferably a Forklift license and/or a crane licence
Attention to detail and can work on their own initiative, and a "can do" attitude and be positive in the role.
