Corporate Tax Job Opportunity - growing independent firm in West Birmingham

Your new company
My client is a well-established independent firm of accountants in Birmingham. Due to internal movement, the firm are seeking a Corporate Tax specialist to join their Tax team. There is flexibility as to the level of the role. This is a firm who look after their staff and offer excellent work-life balance and scope for progression for the successful individual.

Your new role
Managing a portfolio of clients, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the preparation of corporate tax returns, liaising with the accounts department who prepare the basic returns. Your role will involve reviewing returns and dealing with more complex matters as well as working on tax planning and advisory work alongside the Senior Manager and Tax Partners.

What you'll need to succeed
You will currently work in an accountancy practice and will possess experience in corporate tax - either as part of your current role or as a corporate tax specialist. Relevant accountancy and\/or tax qualifications such as ATT\/ CTA\/ ACCA\/ ACA would be beneficial but those who are qualified by experience will also be considered. Most importantly, you will be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure work is completed accurately, tax deadlines are met and strong client relationships are maintained.
