You will join themon a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of up to 46,884 per annum (for a suitable person a market forces payments may be applied).

The Head of Funding Performance and Information Role:

As our client's Head of Funding Performance and Information, you will support the delivery and management of high quality, trusted Management Information Service that meets the needs of the college and its stakeholders in a proactive manner, striving for continual improvement.

The post holder will provide operational management, promote staff development and support the Director of MIS Planning Performance and Information and the Assistant Principal with the management and development of the service by the provision high quality services relating to post 14 funding methodologies, information management, reporting, systems development, curriculum planning and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities of theirHead of Funding Performance and Information:

Managing and monitoring and supporting the implementation of the strategic objectives in relation to MIS
Provide operational management and the delivery of College Management Information Services
Support the corporate planning and reporting activities, including development and articulation of strategic plans, monitoring of progress and reporting against Key Performance Indicators
Lead on Funding, methodologies, impact analysis and assurance including support for planning assumptions and intelligence from external funding bodies into internal forecasting models
Support the Director of MIS and Senior College Management team to develop implement and monitor progress against the integrated planning cycle, supporting the provision of the analysis of planning submissions across the College
Operationally responsible for the accuracy, consistency and timeliness of management information and corporate data, ensuring that effective controls are developed and implemented to improve the quality of outputs
Ensure both internal and external returns deadlines are met and data requirements adhere to data requirement standards for audit, inspection and all external funding agency requirements
Ensure a full and current knowledge of the funding methodology for all of the funding agencies and be responsible for appropriate briefings across the college
What they'relooking for in theirHead of Funding Performance and Information:

Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience within a technical environment
Significant experience of leading and developing MIS Teams
Extensive technical experience and skills of developing and manipulating information from large RMDBS.

Including MS Access and SQL skills, or other relevant reporting tools
Extensive working knowledge of agency funding policy and the skills to implement any changes
Experience of using Agency software and producing college returns
Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Office packages
Demonstrable communication skills
Demonstrable numeracy and literacy skills
Demonstrable record of working flexibly and using own initiative
Experience of successfully working to pressure and tight deadlines
