Job Overview: Our client, a successful calibration & measurement Laboratory are seeking an Electrical Calibration Engineer to join their existing team.

Role:

* This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for someone to join a highly respected calibration laboratory.

* Due to expansion, we are looking for an Electrical Calibration Engineer that can work within a multi-skilled environment covering Electrical, Pressure and Temperature disciplines.

* This role will suit an ambitious individual with good knowledge of calibration processes and an understanding of electronic/software systems.

* The position will allow an individual to use their experiences, skills and develop their passion for measurement and instrumentation. Working within a large technical scope spanning on-site and laboratory-based work as well as visiting customers at various locations.

* The company have an impressive customer base and operate a technically advanced calibration laboratory with niche equipment.

Required experience/characteristics:

* Hold a technical qualification such as ONC, HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above or demonstrate relevant experience

* Must have previous experience in a business with calibration / metrology processes.

* Knowledge of calibration processes (UKAS is preferred)

* Understanding of written procedures and standards

* Capability of fault finding and fault resolution

* Knowledge of windows-based applications

* Experience of working within a customer focused environment

Personal Skills & Attributes required:

* Good communication and organisational skills are essential

* Ability to work with minimum of supervision.

* Ability to communicate to all levels of personnel

* Hold a full driving license.
