Your new company

Your new company is a hospital is based in Huntingdon who are looking to expand their team and bring on a Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to help support their growing team.

Your new role

Your new role as Maintenance Supervisor will have you ensuring that critical plant equipment and systems are available at all times and establishing contingency plans in the event of failure. You will be responsible for monitoring the building management system. You will be acting in a supervisory position and as such, you will be supervising the work stream delivery by ensuring all requests for work, tasks, supplies or materials are dealt with swiftly and decisively.

You will be supervising the planned and preventative maintenance system ensuring an effective process is in place, together with an effective \"day to day\" reactive breakdown responsive service. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient service to staff and patients. You will be overseeing the in-house maintenance team in their delivery to the estates services, alongside conducting regular audits and checks of plant rooms and work areas and reporting any irregularities.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need professional knowledge up to degree level with appropriate professional registration recognised by the engineering council UK or equivalent estates management performance. You will need a mechanical, electrical engineering or building services qualification as well as at least 4 years experience working in a health care\/ public service\/ armed forces environment with an estates background.

You will also have a proven knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and a completed a recognised and recognised EITB or CITB apprenticeship.
