Job description

A leading environmental and engineering consultancy is looking for a newly ACA/ACCA financial accountant to join their growing finance team.

Flexible working is an option for this role, with the successful candidate working in the office 2 days a week and 3 days working from home.

Responsibilities will include:

* The production of statutory accounts for over 100 companies of varying sizes
* The production of Group statutory accounts and related notes
* Understanding and providing appropriate audit evidence for the annual audits
* Working closely with newly acquired entities to understand and document their systems and processes/controls
* Intercompany reconciliation and investigation
* Implementation and monitoring of financial policies and controls across the Group
* Implementation of consolidation software and other ad-hoc projects

Required experience:

* ACA/ACCA newly qualified
* At least 2 experience of statutory accounts preparation under FRS 102
* Ideally, some experience of large group consolidations
* A background in Auditing is desirable but not essential
