Job description

My client is a growing company that has been established for over 30 years. They are a gamma gold partner as well as them being safe contractor approved and ISO 9001 Accredited. They specialise in installing in schools and medical centres, and they are looking for a Structured Cabling engineer to join their family-like, yet growing team.

Structured Cabling Engineer

Cheshire/North Wales.

£25,000-£29,000 depending on experience.

25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

Company Van/Fuel Card

The role:

This role requires the ideal candidate to have experience in network cabling and installing voice and data networks.
The role requires designing and installing voice and data networks by running, pulling, terminating and splicing cables; patching panels; installing telecommunications equipment; cable trays and associated containment.
You would be required to, visit sites when needed to resolve problems regarding data and communication devices, inspect and service network cabling and telecommunications devices.
You would also have to install and create networks for telecommunication systems and cooperate with the team members to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
You would log data faults with channel partners and update tickets as well as recording changes on the CRM system and reporting back to your Line Manager.
Skills and Experience required to apply:

A full clean driving license would be required in order to apply.
Experience in Network Cabling and installing voice and data networks is essential.
You need to be able to demonstrate teamwork abilities.
You would need to be self-motivated and proactive.
