Temporary Works Coordinator

H9 Technical are recruiting for a Temporary Works Coordintaor to join a large EPC on a large energy from waste project in the north west.

This role is a contract position

Key Duties (include but not limited to):

* Apply engineering principles in the review of Temporary Works designs, ensuring compliant to the design restraints of the project

* Early-stage engagement for any Temporary Works interfaces which have the potential to affect programme works, with Health and Safety legislations compliancy.

* To provide the site team with guidance and clear precise briefings ensuring all operatives on site adhere to the Temporary Works procedures set out.

* Detailed liaison with the Project Engineer, Project Health and Safety Advisors and other construction and engineering staff to implement Temporary Works systems, documentation and controls compliant with Health & Safety legislation, company and industry standards

* ​Involvement in weekly Temporary Works meetings with Formwork Designers, raising any issues found with the system in conjunction with the Project Engineer and Project Manager

* To input into the production of RAMS and ITP's, forecasting and advising Temporary Works requirements in conjunction with established Temporary Works controls.

Key Skills and Experience:

* Appropriate Civils experience.

* Temporary Works Coordinator Qualification (CITB Site Safety Plus) and proven experience.

* Understanding of quality, safety, commercial and programme consequences of Temporary Works decisions taken.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite - including use of Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint and Teams

* Should be able to work both in a team environment and alone

* Proactive, conscientious, a high level of commitment and deliver work on time

* Strong communication skills.

* Positive response to pressure. Strong track record of management of a high workload
