Join us and make a difference.Position SummaryYou will be part of People Services, with responsibility for execution and administration of the Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) total rewards programs. This includes, benefits (including health & welfare, risk, retirement and savings plans, wellness), compensation including base pay, long and short-term incentives, job evaluations and pricing, allowances, one-time payments, recognition programs and severance packages.Key ResponsibilitiesLeveraging rewards expertise in understanding the legislation changes, practices and trends for our industry and markets; proposing solutions/recommendations to stakeholders in order to drive the company's rewards strategyLead/support execution and delivery of Global and Regional Total Rewards projects and programs, influencing, educating and collaborating with the stakeholders for the optimum execution Collaborate with Total Reward Service Lines and Centres of Expertise to recommend, operationalize and deliver regional solutionsAct as a subject matter expert and escalation point for TRO Analysts and other internal and external stakeholders for the resolution and guidance of complex total rewards enquiries or needs within the regionIdentifies, designs and develops workable solutions to complex problems within the function, ensuring internal/external stakeholder and wider process impacts are consideredReview system generated correspondence and communications, rewards vendor websites (including benefits enrolment tools), HRA training materials and Local Work InstructionsAssist with compliance and governance of all total rewards plans and programs including identifying risks, participating in audits and recommending and delivering corrective actionsIdentify, recommend and drive opportunities for improvements to existing People Services systems and processes, by working collaboratively within the HR team to ensure consistency of execution of end-to-end HR processes, across regions and functional areasAct as a mentor and trainer for junior members of staffMay also execute people management type of responsibilities, regarding managing CWs or by being the nominated back-up for leadership members during periods of leave of these individualsReview and approve knowledge articles when needed in understanding total reward offerings and communicating in an effective manner.CompensationSME for job evaluations, survey completion, org redesign compensation execution, being the point of contact in case of escalationSME responsible to perform job evaluations and market pricing recommendations in alignment with the global principles and processes in placeInterpret salary data and perform analyses to ensure the BMS competitive positioning within the market and apply knowledge of business and industry best practice to provide feedback to the COE including on regularly scheduled competitive pay reviews for select groups of employees (e.g. key/top talent, critical skills)Lead on, and execute the administration of annual and seasonal compensation planning including merit, bonusLead, evaluate/approve and process complex system transactions including job requisitions, compensation changes, job changes and one-time paymentsProvide reporting and analytics support to Total Rewards (Service Lines, Centers of Excellence) for annual activities e.g. mandatory and annual Collective Agreement increases, off-cycle salary reviews, etc. and projectsPrepare reports to respond to external audit and government bodies as requiredAdminister global recognition program, within the region. Coordinate recognition payments with payrollPerform calculation of severances packages and submission of S&B cost data to the Separation COEBenefitsLead, execute and administer activities related to benefit plan eligibility, enrolments, status changes, and terminations including some social security programsPartner/lead with the Capability Center peers and the Service Lines for designing, developing and implementing , lean operational processes for the benefit plans, ensuring automation efficiency, and streamlining of processes and related tasksAct as a point of escalation and SME for the implementation of operational Benefits design, as required for the regionDevelop, test and implement recommendations for global benefits administration systems change requirements, prepare change request documentation and supports implementationPlan, prepare, manage and close enrolment windows in partnership with system provider and COELiaise with system providers, local brokers and vendors as neededUnderstand, interpret, and effectively communicate benefit plan provisions, policies, programs, process and practice as the escalation point for Key Business PartnersLead and/assist with the administration of wellness programs and vendors. Coordinate wellness communications as neededImplement invoicing and payment processes for regional and some local vendors within the defined vendor management framework, in collaboration with the PS Global Vendor Management teamImplementation of a new local policy vendor (eg US STD/LTD/leaves vendor). Participate in COE led vendor selection, and execute against it, including managing the project and building processLeave of AbsenceProvide guidance to HRA and WFA teams on complex leave of absences related issues, interpreting policies or plans and leveraging vendors when necessary to support resolution of inquiries.Maintain policy and partner with the peers in the Capability Center for communicating any changes, including conducting any necessary trainingDesired requirementsBachelors degree or equivalentIn-depth experience in Compensation Operations, Benefits Administration, and Leaves Administration for the regionExtensive rewards operational experience, with demonstrable experience as TRO Analyst within BMS, having achieved higher performance levelsPractical operational experience of other HR processes (talent acquisition, payroll, performance)Experience working within an HR Shared Services delivery modelExperience working in a rapid, fast-moving, changing environmentGeneral knowledge and understanding of HR policies, processes, regional Employment Laws and total rewards legislative requirements for the relevant regionExperience working with current BMS HR and TR enabling systems: Workday, ServiceNow, Thomsons Online Benefits Admin/Darwin, Morneau Shepell's Ariel Experience working in a multi-cultural/multi-country work environmentAbility to use business judgment when assessing requirements and performance, in order to identify the right solution to meet business needsDemonstrated analytical abilities, attention to detail and the ability to successfully coordinate multiple competing tasks and prioritiesExcellent presentation skills; presenting information in a clear and structured way to stakeholdersBuilt networking with various stakeholders, such as employees, HR partners, management groups, business leader, PBRGsAbility to network across a global organization, to align with organization objectives and strategy, in order to operationalize and deliver enterprise wide solutions.
