Job description

My client a leading Telecoms Network Provider building their own network in the West. They are providing full fibre networks to communities in the West of England and into Wales to improve the UK's infrastructure and broadband speeds. Working hard to bring rural communities, some of the fastest fibre across the UK. Working with new technologies, they offer great opportunities to gain new skills and knowledge and develop your opportunities within the telecoms sector.

They are currently looking for a Fibre Surveyor as part of their large growth plans. You will drive the network builds forward to meet business requirements while searching for opportunities to gain maximum value for spend.

Skills and knowledge required:

·Experience working on fibre deployment projects.
·Working in a fast moving and energetic environment.
·Understanding of fibre network surveying, designing, planning and building,
·Good understanding of Traffic Management requirements.
·PIA experience

Main responsibilities:

·Work closely with the Fibre Planning team to ensure survey results are clearly understood
·Create and validate a weekly build plan to provide clear targets and progress reporting benchmarks.
·Ensure the final survey results are of a consistent quality
·Provide regular updates to all stakeholders to confirm expected progress or, if an unavoidable delay, revised plans, and time frames.
·Work closely with the Civils and Engineering teams to make sure your work is effective and accurate

What you will get:
Rates equivalent to £40,000 to £50,000 per annum.
Plus £400 per month car allowance
